Underwater Webcam

The showstopper in my office: my fish-tank with Australian Crayfish ("Cherax destructor"). I never imagined how much fun a tank with crayfish would be. In fact, I've almost given up watching TV ...

I always wondered how my three cherax see their home, so I decided to build an underwater webcam. It is still in its experimental phase, but here you can view the development. Right now, the cam is out of the water, in front of the tank. It is an ultra-cheap USB cam which I took out of its case, only the pc-board with the CCD-chip and the lens has been left. I am going to build a small waterproof case and then ... ok, we'll see.

Anyway, here it is. If you see something strange, it's probably because I am experimenting.
